A sometime blog about what we do, where we go and how we feel about it all. With pictures.

It only hurts when I laugh
Here we are on bank holiday Monday, I guess that our cultural roots demand we visit a garden centre or sit in a traffic jam, but we opted to cycle to a park and loaf around.
Younger sibling is now a two wheel practioner, and we see her sporting her preferred uniform, shorts and casual footwear, her new crocs from Costco, they seem totally right somehow.
She cycled from our house down to the park, which is a fair distance and invovled quite a bit of work, but once there she enjoyed the playground and collecting these rare flower varieties, they match her clogs,
These whizzy round things are highly prized, they just make us elderly parents feel sick, watching them is testing enough. You may notice the urban jungle in the background, quite pleasant for this dirty old town,
These are the serious cyclists in the family, first born got this rather swish bike recently and has become a very committed cyclist, pater familias has been doing twenty miles out into Cheshire 'for fun' and has plans for summer excursions.
Great way to spend a spring afternoon, minimal cost involved, especially as we found we had come out with no money so couldn't buy pop from the shop to revive the weary travellers. Sadly it's back to the grind tomorrow.
