Buy me a star an the boulevard

We went to visit our art, during the easter holidays off spring went to the Whitworth and joined in a family workshop which took about three mornings of work and now it's on display. A design was taken from drawings and made into tiles, this is grandmas drawing made into a tile by mother.
Then there were boxes covered with strips of the drawing photocopied...well anyway the artist had the big idea and we grafted away and here is the result. It's in gallery 10 if you want to go and have a look.

This is first born's tile, they both worked really hard and perhaps they are used to have their stuff up on walls here and there, so perhaps the Whitworth is no great shakes really, it's only certain people who think that sort of thing is a big deal.
