It's an omen.

Half term ( again) and we felt we had earned a trip to Ironbridge again. A different and very superior inn to stop over in, where younger sibling made light work of an apple and cinnamon crumble, "what is cinnamon?" quoth she.
We went to Jackfields Tile museum and decorated a tile, we await it arriving by post any day now. Then braved a little overnight snow to go to Blists Hill, sample life down a clay mine and eat chips. The off spring courageously volunteered to go to the Victorian school for a brief lesson. At least younger sibling got her question right.
Back to work now, and still it keeps snowing, but we are all well used to it now.
