As ever with this family, the plans they kept on changing. Eventually we turned up at the seaside. Stayed in Scarborough and visited Whitby. Our ability to dodge the rain was legendary, well amongst the four of us it was. Happy days.
We needed to visit the army surplus store, and the route took us out towards the Wirral. So we boldly went somewhere we have never been before. What were we thinking? Formby is lovely. Great beach, woods with red squirrels and all sorts, we even have things to go back for as we didn't visit the squirrels. Oh, and ice cream.
