I have long wanted to visit Little Moreton Hall. Pater was thwarted in his exhaust buying plan so improvised a trip out. It was fab. The off spring were somewhat ambivalent, but they will thank us later.
The farmers who aspirational efforts led to all this are now long gone, but it was touching to see how they raised their sights and had a go at being gentrified.
Lots of lovely craftsmanship.
A sometime blog about what we do, where we go and how we feel about it all. With pictures.

You can sharpen your knife
February is a tricky month, cold, grey and the further most tip of winter, when it feels like spring is never coming. Except for snow drops.
However we went out to favourite haunts in the biting cold.
Plus here is the rubbish pet that isn't our cat, but has found a nice spot to sit and do a bit of past prandial snoring.

Worship like a dog
It's been a tough few months, year, something like that.

Chester Zoo in half term and Whitworth park one gray Saturday in February.
