hmm

I know that just a few people will find all these pictures of blue jumpers interesting, but I have enjoyed perusing all these stitches, the solutions these knitters found to the problems they encountered, their inventiveness their skills and the joy of so many beautiful hand made items. Plus I feel very attached to these working peoples' garments. It is so hard to find old work wear, and tells us such alot about the people who wore them and made them. Delightful.

Things that make you go

It is a lovely thing to be able to indulge your passions, here I am visitng an exhibition of ganseys in Robin Hood's Bay, then also some ganseys from Filey Museum which I also visited on my treat weekend.
Just don't ask me why, because then I will be off on the wonder of ganseys, and really that can be tiresome for the innocent bystander.
They were amazing and I met such lovely people.

Hard to know where to begin.

A bit after the event, but here is the little one making the leap to big school. Seems like she is swimming pretty well so far, we always keep an eye to half term and beyond as the first bt can be exhausting, but sometimes a person just needs a bigger canvas. Here's hoping.

When things are big that should be small.

We make it around the big town, and also out to visit with the livestock.

 Youf mucking out....I KNOW!

Alfie the greyhound finds it a bit stressful so the little one comforted him.

Sadly Blue is no longer part of the wider family, having gone on to loan ees new. She actually came to be OK after the sobering influence of Aunty Soup. Good times.
