We'll be counting stars

Bank holiday Monday can be difficult, how to avoid the crowds of people and general harrassment of costly cups of tea whilst out.

We solved this one by going somewhere no-one else seemed to go. The tea was a £1 for a cup, and younger sibling got to make an easter basket into the bargain.

It's housed in a work house building hence the school room.

Counting Stars

Our nephew and his wife have had a baby. Here she is a few days old, very small and very cute. With the babies who are getting all grown up now.

Old but not that old.

Another works night out. This time, Janet P is 50, and we all were something that begins with 'J'. I was Janet P.

When I get home

Happy 11 solar returns, younger sibling.
Celebrating with friends included bowling, pizza, ice cream and singing along to Frozen.

I'm young but not so bold

As Pater had a conference to go to, we salvaged a bit of Easter holiday with a trip to Durham, tea, scones and cathedral.

Also Barnard Castle to see Bowes Museum. You have to see the swan, a silver automoton which catches a fish at two every day.

We have driven past the angel of the north many times, so we went to see him up close this time, on a very dark and wet Monday morning. It's about hope and dreams according to the info board. Here's to hope then.
