Mother and her lovely work colleagues were in celebration mode, went to Leeds, had afternoon tea and then mostly went on for cocktails and painting the town red. These are the bits mother was around for. Russian caravan tea was a revelation.
As devoted readers will know we are members of YHA. As the spring has been late coming, and the easter holidays have had to be spent doing domestic type stuff we tried to claw back by having an adventure. We went to YHA Coalport as the offspring wanted to go to Blists Hill ( again). It was very busy at the hostel, and the weather was fantastic, at least the sun was out ans the sky was blue, we say frog croaking and everything. We have been visting for a long time but they never tire.
