So baby don't you stop

All Saints day tomorrow, so we have bowed slightly to imported tradtion and pater did some very fine carving with the offspring, quite looking forwards to it getting dark this evening so they can stand in the window.

You're too much.

The momentous occasion is one of the glamorous cousins turning 21. She invited the family for a birthday at home and we had a very nice time, though sharing the cough was not really part of the plan.

Cos when you're hot

I'm not sure how the oversight occured, but the little one had never been to see the loomies( Blackpool illuminations). So we set off to rectify that. In truth, I don't think she really knew what to expect, but she seemed charmed, and what with a visit to an arcade and fish and chips it was a veritable hit. Here's to next year, apparently we have to go every year now.

Don't care about the clothes you wear.

Here are the now traditional back to school photos. The off Spring are now getting huge and grown up, fixed points like these bring it all home.

We rounded off the summer holidays with a trip to the People's History Museum, of course we needed to revisit the Peterloo exhibit, but a play in the mock up schop never goes amiss.
