Makes me want to live

It made the few days feel like a long time, and there was a courtyard with bickes and a climbing frame at the cottage so the off spring could play outside.

It made such a good break to be away from the city, and to take things at a slower pace, with no imperatives of jobs to do and things to get done. Conwy castle walls.

This weekend was the opener for half term. We had plans that went amiss so, all on the last minute pater found a cottage near Conwy and we had a few days away.

The weather was fair and we managed to pack plenty of stuff in, including a trip to Anglesay, ( " Is THAT Anglesay????") to see Beaumaris castle, The Welsh Mountain Zoo and a couple of nice pub meals out.

PLus we went to the Blue Planet Aquarium on the way home, as we haven't been for soooooooo long.

How sweet the sound

It feels as if we have been in hibernation such a long time. This weekend went to meet up with lovely friends and ended up making a day of it with little matey coming back to spend the afternoon playing. Always refreshing to see ouselves through others eyes.

Then we went to the park for a play. Blue sky and not too cold, until the sun started to sink when it got jolly chilly and we went to drop off.
