'Bout a smart dressed man

On Saturday First born was invited to go with friends to Hawkhead Follies, so there was a need to show younger sibling a good time so that she didn't feel left out. We managed some tamarinds and watching the Meerkats being fed, which proved very diverting.
Later we opted out of the quiz which, in favour of learning short rows an wrap and turn with a very accomplished friend who was just casting on some socks. Ah Nirvana.
It was great to catch up, and staffordshire holds happy memories from way back which was good, oh and Pater secured some wheels for the Bosch Bolt Bucket at a bargin price, which he was able to collect whilst in the neighbour hood. Result.

Women go crazy

We have been away staying at our place in the country, ( see above).
It's in deepest Staffordshire and strangely enough we met 90+ of our closest friends there. They had the same idea obviously, guess that's what the promis of perfect late spring weather does for people. Top picture is the view from our bedroom, cor it's hell up north eh?

Here are some of the dear souls. There was plenty of chat, craic et al. The off spring quickly went feral and we saw them occasionally in the distance deeply engrossed in some sort of tribal rites, climbing up trees and eating tonnes of sweets that their friends had bought for them.
It was really quite nice.
